Highlands Reserve
The prestigious and well-established Highlands Reserve Golf and Country Club is set in undulating countryside surrounded by orange groves, oaks and pine trees.
This highly popular and sought-after community features wide tree-lined boulevards, pavements, street lighting and green areas. A safe environment for children to play. Citrus trees can be found dotted around the golf course.

All villas are set on generous plots and are not all "crammed in" as is found on many other developments. Most vacation rental homes benefit from conservation or golf course views, fully taking advantage of the beautiful setting at Highlands Reserve - you can't but be impressed and you will want to come back year after year !!
Why Highlands Reserve ?
Having travelled to Orlando many times in the past, we were very set on our idea of the perfect villa location when we were looking to purchase. We were looking for a development that was within easy travelling distance of all the major attractions (a major condition for our three children) and yet not set right in the middle of the hustle and bustle (that's noise to those of us that are not teenagers!). The US27 south of the US192 looked like the perfect location for us as it was mainly rural, unlike the over-developed and less attractive US192 Kissimmee area. Why not look up "Highlands Reserve 33897" on Google Earth ?
With so much choice (and there is a lot of developments to choose from) we were surprised that we had not found anything that really stood out - that is, until we finally drove on to Highlands Reserve. We had literally just driven 100 yards into Highlands Reserve and stopped in our path. We collectively all said... WOW !! We can honestly say that it really took our breath away - it was like nothing else we had seen. Initially, we thought that we were out of our league (it felt like walking into a realtor in Beverly Hills), but then thought.... let's take a look anyway.... and what a pleasant surprise we got !!
As with so many things, it really is the simple details that really make the difference. The entrance landscaping is mature and lush and makes you feel immediately like you have arrived somewhere special (the long flight suddenly seems like a distant memory). The superb golf course was also a huge attraction for all (more so for the girls as they get to do some guilt-free sunbathing by the pool or shopping at the many excellent designer outlet malls - of which there are lots). In addition, the large gardens and paved walkways give a real sense of community that is safe for kids and a delight for that early morning walk, jog or moonlight stroll.
The final deciding factor for us to buy on Highlands Reserve was the outstanding build quality and attention to detail we saw lacking elsewhere on other developments. We immediately appreciated the quality decor, furnishings throughout and hi-spec appliances in the spacious and well-appointed kitchen. You really feel that nothing has been skimped - everything you need is there and to such a high quality !! Highlands was more expensive than other developments, but we felt it was worth the extra - we promptly signed on the dotted line and are now the proud owners of a luxurious villa with enviable conservation views.
