Eagle Pointe
Eagle Pointe has a great peaceful location, just off Poinciana Boulevard in Kissimmee and just 8 miles (12 minutes drive) to Disney maingate. Kissimmee is famous for its large selection of restaurants, shops and attractions, including a large 24-hour Wal-Mart store, is only a few minutes drive away.
Eagle Pointe is a quiet gated part-residential community built around three lakes. The community offers a mixture of one and two-storey vacation homes set within a wooded conservation area. Most homes offer either conservation woodland or lakeside views. Fishing is permitted in these lakes, and there is a lot of wildlife to see.
Staying on Eagle Pointe is like having the best of both worlds – the peace and quiet, with the fun and magic of the Orlando area’s attractions not far away.
There are two nearby public golf courses in Kissimmee - catering for all levels and offering excellent value for money, Eagle Pointe makes a great place to stay for the early-morning golfer. Travel towards US192 for the PGA rated Falcon`s Fire, as well as the Celebration and Hawk`s Landing golf courses which border Walt Disney World.
For all your essentials, the ever popular WalMart located (next to Medieval Times on US192) is just under 3 miles. However, being close to US192, a couple of miles up from Walmart there is a Super Target and around 1 mile further along US192 (at the junction with SR535) is a Publix supermarket. There are also numerous shopping outlets on the US192 and the larger Lake Buena Vista outlet towards Walt Disney World on SR535.
Places to eat are equally abundant, with dozens of family-favourite restaurants located with a couple of miles of the Poinciana Boulevard-US192 junction. These include: Smokey Bones, Olive Garden, IHOP, Chillis, Chevys, TGI Fridays, Ruby Tuesday and Longhorn Steakhouse (to mention but a few). For a themed night out why not watch 'medieval' knights battle it out with jousting at the nearby Medieval Times banquet meal ?
