Where Is Vista Cay Resort?
Vista Cay Resort is located on Universal Boulevard in Orlando, Florida, close to International Drive and the Orange County Convention Center.
Its central position makes it particularly attractive for visitors who want to spend time at Universal Orlando, SeaWorld and Epic Universe, while keeping restaurants, shopping and entertainment within easy reach.
The resort is also connected to Orlando's main road network, including the Beachline Expressway (SR 528) and Interstate 4, making it convenient to travel to other parts of the city and Central Florida.
Unlike many villa communities farther south in the Kissimmee and Davenport areas, Vista Cay offers condo-style accommodation in a location closer to Orlando's International Drive attractions and convention facilities.

- Fully equipped kitchens for self-catering.
- Private balconies or outdoor areas at selected properties.
- Wi-Fi and entertainment facilities, as specified in each listing.
- Laundry facilities in selected accommodation.
- Access to shared resort amenities, subject to the applicable community rules.
Property layouts, sizes, sleeping capacities and facilities vary. Check the individual listing carefully to confirm what is included in your chosen accommodation.
Vista Cay Resort Facilities
One of Vista Cay's main attractions is the range of shared leisure facilities available to guests.
The resort's clubhouse and pool areas provide opportunities to relax between theme park visits, enjoy some Florida sunshine or spend time with the family without needing to leave the community.
Published resort information lists facilities including:
- Swimming pools and children's pool areas.
- Spa and hot tub facilities.
- Fitness centre.
- Clubhouse and games facilities.
- Children's play areas.
- Barbecue and picnic areas.

Please note that the swimming pools and other leisure facilities are shared community amenities, not private pools belonging to individual condos.
Vista Cay Near Universal Epic Universe
One of Vista Cay's most exciting advantages is its location close to Universal Epic Universe.
The new theme park brings immersive themed worlds, spectacular attractions and entertainment to Orlando, making it an important addition to a Universal-focused holiday.
Vista Cay is situated across the Universal Boulevard area from Epic Universe, and some accommodation locations are within walking distance of the park's wider surroundings. However, walking routes, entrances and pedestrian access should be checked for your exact destination before setting off.
If Epic Universe is high on your holiday wish list, Vista Cay is a location worth considering.
Universal Orlando Resort
Vista Cay is also well placed for visiting Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Volcano Bay.
These parks offer a different experience from Disney, with thrilling rides, themed lands, water attractions and entertainment for a wide range of ages.
Driving times vary according to traffic and the route taken, but Vista Cay's central location can make it a convenient base for a Universal theme park holiday.
If Universal is the main focus of your trip, compare the location with your park plans and allow time for parking, security and getting to the entrances.

Close to SeaWorld, Aquatica and Discovery Cove
Vista Cay is also conveniently located for SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica and Discovery Cove.
SeaWorld combines marine-life experiences with rides, shows and attractions, while Aquatica offers water slides, pools and family-friendly water activities. Discovery Cove provides a more relaxed, pre-booked day experience with tropical surroundings and animal encounters.
Having several major attractions within the wider International Drive and SeaWorld area can help you plan a varied holiday without needing to travel across the whole of Orlando every day.
Vista Cay Near International Drive
International Drive is one of Orlando's best-known visitor areas, offering a wide choice of restaurants, shops, attractions and entertainment.
From dining out and browsing the shops to visiting family attractions, there is plenty to enjoy away from the theme parks.
Nearby Pointe Orlando and ICON Park offer additional dining and entertainment options. The exact journey depends on where your accommodation is located within Vista Cay, but the wider area is readily accessible.
Vista Cay is a particularly appealing option if you want to combine theme park days with evenings out and easy access to restaurants.
Ideal for the Orange County Convention Center
Vista Cay is also popular with visitors attending exhibitions, conferences and other events at the Orange County Convention Center.
The resort is close to the convention complex, although the distance and walking time depend on the particular building or entrance you need to reach. The convention centre is large, so check your event location before choosing how to travel.
Staying in a condo or townhome can provide more living space than a conventional hotel room, with the option of preparing meals and relaxing away from the event venue.
For business travellers, exhibitors and families accompanying convention visitors, Vista Cay offers a useful combination of self-catering accommodation and central access.
Shopping, Supermarkets and Restaurants
You don't need to travel far to find everyday essentials while staying at Vista Cay.
The surrounding area has supermarkets, pharmacies, casual dining options and restaurants, making it easier to stock up on groceries or enjoy a meal out.
A self-catering kitchen is especially useful for families who prefer breakfast at home before an early start, or for groups who want the option of eating in after a busy day.
International Drive offers a wider choice of restaurants and entertainment venues, from casual meals to more formal dining, so you can choose how much of your holiday to spend cooking and how much to spend exploring.
Check the current opening hours and directions for specific businesses before visiting.
Vista Cay and Walt Disney World
Although Vista Cay is particularly convenient for Universal, Epic Universe, SeaWorld and International Drive, Walt Disney World is also accessible by road.
Disney's theme parks are spread across a large area, so journey times vary according to which park you plan to visit, traffic conditions and your chosen route.
If your holiday combines Universal and Disney, Vista Cay can provide a central base for experiencing both. However, if you plan to spend most of your time at Disney, it may be worth comparing accommodation in other Orlando communities as well.

Getting Around from Vista Cay
Vista Cay's central location and access to major roads make it convenient for exploring Orlando.
A hire car gives you the greatest flexibility for visiting different theme parks, shopping centres and attractions, although some nearby restaurants, shops and venues may be accessible on foot depending on your building's location.
Orlando International Airport is approximately 10–15 minutes away by car in typical conditions, although traffic and your exact route can make the journey longer. Check your flight schedule and allow sufficient time for airport check-in and security.
If you are attending a convention, check whether your event organiser provides transport between the venue and accommodation. Public transport, taxis and ride-hailing services are other options, depending on your plans.
