Making memories at Walt Disney World

Making memories at Walt Disney World

Memories that are made at the magical Walt Disney World should never fade away. With so many amazing experiences crammed into one vacation we know it can be easy to forget just how amazing everything was. You can now be sure to capture all the magic with Memory Maker - Disney's new photo initiative that is being rolled out across all parks.

Long-range read technology will automatically match your attraction photos  to your My Disney Experience account via the chip inside your MagicBand. While you have your photograph taken by a Disney PhotoPass photographer, simply touch the band to a device the photographer uses for it to be uploaded to your account. For on-ride attraction photos, just swipe your band on the way out. Forget waiting around to try to find your picture at
the end of the ride, you can now get digital copies of every single picture, all downloaded to one place.

For each Memory Maker purchase, you have a 30 day window in which to take all of your vacation snaps. Photos will be uploaded within one hour and are then available for 45 days before they expire. You can print your photos during this period, or purchase a back up CD of all images for $29.95.

making memories 1It's important to remember that you need BOTH the MagicBand and Memory Marker package for this to work. You also need to make sure your My Disney Experience account is linked to your Memory Maker card (if you've ordered online this should be done automatically). Your MagicBand will store unlimited photos taken at hundreds of Disney PhotoPass locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort. Rides that are currently part of the Memory Maker magic include Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Test Track, Rock 'n Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror & Expedition Everest. Purchase early via Disney's website and you can knock $50 off the £199.99 price tag. Once you're purchased your Memory Maker technology, all that's left to do is relax and be in the moment while the Disney PhotoPass photographers capture your families' happiest memories.

You can then enjoy looking at your photos whilst relaxing by your private pool in your luxury villa rental home with free WiFi on your tablet computer or laptop.
